Last weekend was fun but rather uneventful. I was up in Boston both nights and hung out with some guys from the house as well as some folks from high school. It's always funny to see how your friends from college interact with your friends from before. They got along pretty well. I ran into some kid at a house party in Cambridge whose uncle was my science teacher in like 4th grade: "Wild Bill" Nixon. He both agreed that Mr. Nixon was a nutcase. Wild Bill told our class a gay joke...in 4th grade! Nobody got it of course but one of the kids did turn out to be gay many years later. He also used to throw glass vials at us if we weren't paying attention and he used to light his hair on fire to show us what burning protein smelled like. I remember one time he ordered a giant magnifying sheet and was showing us how you could like shit on fire outside by concentrating the sun's rays. He ended up lighting part of the building's siding on fire and we had to put it out with an extinguisher. It was pretty funny. There are an endless amount of stories about the guy. He's definitely the one who got me interested in science and probably engineering. So, I thank you, Wild Bill.

We finally got a couch for the apartment. It's this huge green sectional with two recliners, a pull out bed and one of the sections seat back folds down to reveal a table. It's been in a basement for a while so it smells a little funny, but it is perfect. I promise I'll take some pics.

Not sure what this weekend holds, but we'll see...
